Work Wise Awards
Equality North East (one of the Work Wise North East partners) has introduced a new category into their 2008 North East Equality Awards - the Work Wise Award for innovative working practices.
This is a great opportunity for organisations to showcase best practice in terms of flexible/smarter working practices and a great chance to win a prestigious regional award which will result in lots of positive media publicity particularly in The Journal, our key media partner. Winners will be presented with their awards at a special celebratory dinner on 18th September.
To be recognised as such an employer not only brings with it positive publicity, improving reputation and image, but also real business benefits. Previous winners and short-listed applicants are excellent examples of how
good policies and procedures have led to increased chances of winning contracts, better staff retention rates and a greater chance of finding the
right people to do the job.
